UNSPOKEN (a sonnet)

I wish to see always that pleasing face
My days are in roses and I love her
Flowers are blooming in mid-summer May
Vibrantly like the apple of my eyes

But the moment reality strikes
It is my world’s total solar eclipse
This love is indeed one-sided affair
Love her so dearly but it’s secretly

Yes it’s me hiding myself unspoken
Because the girl belongs to another
When I see them together and happy
It’s pain that killing me inside

Yes it’s painful, and it’s heartbreaking
But I know it will make my stand tight.
