UNDER THE STATE OF WAR

War hits the biggest life of ordinary people. When the powerful and ambitious leaders staged war, it is not them who suffer the most and not the direct casualties affected by the war but it is the common people or the poor civilians. Whether they like it or not, the ordinary people are the first in line casualty of war. While the powerful, ambitious, and great leaders who waged the war are in their secured and comfy place, then the private citizen unarmed protecting themselves, especially the children who are not capable of saving themselves from war, are directly facing the danger, running for their life from one place to another, struggling with discomfort, and suffering the national, social and emotional results of war.

When the leaders declared the state of war despite the ordinary people opposed it, the people became obligated to defend their society. They can't do anything no matter how they dislike the conflicts or the warfare and violence, they do not agree with exchange of bullets, grenades and rockets, nothing they can do if the leader wished it. Our great leaders could say the battle cry is for the Mother Land, but how about the greater world? The billions cost spent in war to prove who's right and might will not tantamount to the ease of peace. The mental and emotional stress is extremely so high amidst of the eerie sound of explosions, gruesome widespread violence, and pounding heart in intense fear. The display of power seen in the skies is on fire witnessing the air strikes of drones and rockets both intercepted and hit the targets. The vessels of the troops are sailing, and so the assault of armed forces in the armoured vehicles. Out of nowhere and anytime, there are the explosions of grenades and bombs, fires of artilleries and mortars. Every siren is always threat of danger that makes the victims feel the anxious and paranoid, causes panic and psychological pressure.

There is no win in war but only lost, it is repeatedly said and heard but it is always true. Everybody is loser because the victims of war are the whole people. The lives that killed are the collateral damage, the livelihood that gone, the property and infrastructure that destroyed, the economy that collapsed, the trauma it caused to human, and the future that risked especially the children deprived of their future, these are the pay of war. There is no victory here because there is total disruption of daily life. The amount of massive destruction of infrastructures and life is state of crisis that tremendously impacts the life that would so hard to go back to normal.

During this less fortunate time of conflict, the second-rate citizen or the laymen we are, politically we do not hold our own fate, nor we really do not own our desire, world and life because in reality, we just follow and obey what superiors told us and we really cannot do about it. We are actually submitting our lives to these leaders. Anytime they want to stage war, we the ordinary and common people cannot prepare. And it is really so difficult to hold the feeling of uncertainty in times of hostilities. You fear of losing job that will mean losing the life you have built for your family. You really dedicated your whole life to work so hard to get the goals and the small comfort you dreamed, you pursued for so many years to improve your life, saved money, invested gold and properties to secure your future, and persevered to live fairly without troubling others but all of these will gone in a snap because of war that your leader wanted. All these sacrifices will become useless and senseless just because of your leader's decision of declaration of war. You have nothing to do with it and did nothing fault about but you're already implicated on the thing they created.
